Client: Pyaterochka (part of X5 Group, Russia’s largest retailer
Challenge: To announce big sale on typical Russian gender holidays – the 8th of March, International Women’s Day and the 23rd of February, Defender of the Fatherland Day. Both days are quite popular and require presents from the opposite gender.
Solution: We took another typical Russian thing – “I only went out to buy some bread” joke – when a person gets in a situation quite different from what he/she planned. Here the customers cannot stop buying presents because they are so affordable.
